Atlanta, GA, January 27, 2015 – Following a long battle over building permits with the City of Atlanta in 2014, delaying construction for nearly two months, Intown Primary Care, a leading healthcare provider, opens the doors to its second medical facility on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
“It was my goal to open a second location to be able to create jobs and provide healthcare services to a wider patient base,” says Dr. Scott B. Parry, founder and CEO of Intown Primary Care. “Also, by offering extended hours, it provides our current patients with the flexibility to schedule visits after work.”
Currently, Dr. Parry and his staff provide medical care for men, women, and members of the transgender community from his Virginia Highland office, which includes primary care, psychiatry, HIV/AIDS, spider vein treatment and more.
Recognized as a leader in the field of hormone replacement, Dr. Parry is well versed in medical therapies to treat low testosterone, commonly found in people who suffer from diabetes, COPD, HIV, hypertension, or patients on chronic pain pills. He is the leading primary care provider in the Southeast to perform the Testopel implantation procedure, the latest advancement in the treatment of low testosterone.
“This location will be a bilingual practice that will be able to better serve Atlanta’s growing Hispanic population,” adds Dr. Parry, who notes that, according to a Pew Research Center’s report on the Top 60 Hispanic Metropolitan Areas, Atlanta is ranked 19.
The newly renovated two-story, 8,000 square foot building is located at 2215 Cheshire Bridge Road with plenty of free parking, a state of the art patient interactive computer system for medical records, and the only Primary Care office in the area that will be open 7 days a week.
Healthcare service is available at Intown Primary Care Cheshire Bridge Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 3:00 pm. Same-day appointments and walk-in patients are welcomed.
