Intown Primary Care is an Internal Medicine/Primary Care practice, however, our providers also specialize in HIV/AIDS, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and some mental health issues.
Yes, Dr. Parry is accepting new patients.* The next available appointment will vary based on location and provider. Please give us a call today to schedule an appointment.
*Although we continue to see current Medicaid or Medicare patients, or those who may go on either while a current patient, we are not accepting new patients on Medicaid or Medicare.
We participate in most plans from Medicare*, Medicaid*, and Commercial Insurance Providers. However, because every plan differs, we ask that you contact your insurance company directly to ensure that Dr. Scott B. Parry is a participating provider in your network.
If we can’t verify your insurance or coverages, you can pay the full cash price and be reimbursed when the claim is paid. We can submit the insurance forms on your behalf.
*We are not currently accepting new Medicare and Medicaid patients.
Intown Primary Care office hours are as follows:
Morningside/Midtown (Cheshire Bridge Road):
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Note: The Providers take lunch Monday – Friday between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
We do not accept walk-ins, but same-day appointments may be available. Please contact the office.
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse that has acquired a master’s degree. They have advanced training in diagnosing and treating illnesses. Nurse Practitioners diagnose and treat illnesses, administer physical exams, prescribe medications, and so much more.
For newly transitioning transgender patients, our providers require a letter from a therapist, and all lab work must be done before starting the process.
We ask that patients are responsible for anticipating their need for refills. Requests may take up to 48 hours to process. You can request a refill via our secure patient portal or by contacting your pharmacy directly.
Receiving a bill from the lab can come for a number of reasons. The top two reasons are that certain tests are not covered under your plan or the amount has been applied to your deductible. However, if you have received a bill from any lab, please contact them directly. They will advise you on the detail of the bill or as to whether or not you should contact IPC for further actions.
