Intown Primary Care

Effective Date: 06/13/2026 Last Updated: 06/13/2026

Intown Primary Care (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website intownprimarycare.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our Site, communicate with us, or use our services. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy governs information collected through our website and general communications. The handling of your protected health information (PHI) in connection with your medical care is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which is available at our office and upon request.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide directly. This includes information you submit through contact forms, appointment request forms, patient portals, email, text messages, or phone calls — such as your name, date of birth, mailing address, email address, phone number, insurance details, and any health-related information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring website, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).

Information from third parties. We may receive information from third-party service providers, such as scheduling platforms, payment processors, insurance verification services, and analytics providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, requests, and appointment scheduling;
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services and the Site;
  • Communicate with you about appointments, services, follow-ups, and administrative matters;
  • Verify insurance and process payments;
  • Send you information, reminders, or updates you have requested or consented to receive;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations;
  • Protect the security and integrity of our Site and operations; and
  • Analyze how the Site is used so we can improve user experience.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers. We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as website hosting, appointment scheduling, payment processing, and analytics — and who are obligated to protect your information.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Intown Primary Care, our patients, or others.

Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

With your consent. We may share information for other purposes when you have given us your consent to do so.

Protected health information is shared only as permitted or required by HIPAA and as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

4. Mobile Information and SMS/Text Messaging

If you opt in to receive text (SMS) messages from us, the following applies:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. For help, reply HELP or contact us using the information in Section 12.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You transmit information to us at your own risk.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance functionality, analyze traffic, and improve your experience. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent; however, some portions of the Site may not function properly without them.

We may also use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect and process information about your use of the Site. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their use of such information.

7. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action. Information collected as part of providing pediatric or family medical care is handled in accordance with applicable law and our Notice of Privacy Practices.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your information, and the right to opt out of certain communications. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 12.

Rights concerning your protected health information are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

10. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no industry-standard response to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track requests.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Changes are effective when posted on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
